The view: A husband and wife moved to a new city. They started living in a new house. Then the husband frowned as he looked through the window. What he saw was the clothes spread for drying at the neighbouring house. "The neighbour doesn't know how to wash clothes properly’’, he told his wife.

“They may have been too busy today. That may be the reason why the neighbouring lady didn't wash properly” said the wife. The first thing the husband did when he woke up the next day was to look at the house next door through her window. He came to the conclusion that the clothes that had been dried that day in the next house were also dirty.
One day he angrily told his wife, “Don't these neighbours know what cleanliness is? They don't even know how to wash! Shall I go and speak to them directly about this?” he asked. Wife stopped him saying it was not polite.

One day, as usual, the husband, when he saw the neighbouring house got surprised. “Oh, those clothes are so clean today. At last the neighbour has learnt how to wash” he said. The wife replied, "This morning I cleaned the windows of our house for the first time."

பார்வை: ஒரு கணவன் மனைவி புதிதாக ஒரு நகருக்குக் குடிபெயர்ந்தனர். புதிய வீட்டில் வாழத் தொடங்கினார்கள். அப்போது கணவர் ஜன்னல் வழியாகப் பார்த்தபோது முகம் சுளித்தார். அவர் பார்த்தது பக்கத்து வீட்டில் காயப்போட்டிருந்த துணிகளை. பக்கத்துவீட்டுக்காரிக்கு துணிகளை சரியாகத் துவைக்கத் தெரியவில்லை. அழுக்கை சரியாக போக்காமலேயே துவைத்திருக்கிறாள் என்று தன் மனைவியிடம் கூறினார்.

இன்று அவர்களுக்கு வேலை அதிகமாக இருந்திருக்கலாம். அதனால் சரியாக துவைக்கவில்லையோ என்னவோ என்று மனைவி பதிலுக்குச் சொன்னார். அடுத்த நாள் எழுந்ததும் முதல் வேலையாக தன் ஜன்னல் வழியாக பக்கத்து வீட்டை நோக்கினார் கணவர். அடுத்த வீட்டில் அன்று காயப் போட்டிருந்த துணிகளும் அழுக்காகவே இருந்தன என்ற முடிவுக்கு அவர் வந்தார்.

பிறகொருநாள் தன் மனைவியிடம் கோபமாக இந்த பக்கத்து வீட்டுக்காரர்களுக்கு சுத்தம் என்றாலே என்ன என்பது தெரியாதா? எப்படி துவைப்பது என்பதைக்கூட அறியாதவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்களே! நான் இது பற்றி அவர்களிடம் நேரடியாக சென்று பேசட்டுமா? என்றார். அது நாகரிகமல்ல என்று மனைவி கணவனை தடுத்துவிட்டார்.

ஒரு நாள் வழக்கம்போல பக்கத்து வீட்டில் காயப் போட்டிருந்த துணிகளைப் பார்த்த கணவருக்கு பெரும் வியப்பு. அ​டடா, இன்று அந்தத் துணிகள் வெகு சுத்தமாக இருக்கிறதே. இப்போதுதான் பக்கத்து வீட்டுக்காரி துவைப்பது எப்படி என்பதைக் கற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் என்றார்.

அதற்கு மனைவி, இன்று காலை தான் முதல் முறையாக நம் வீட்டு ஜன்னல் கண்ணாடியை துடைத்து சுத்தமாக்கினேன் என்றார்.
