Inspiring journey of Vikram.A.Sarabhai

Vikram Sarabhai was involved in Space Research and established an institution for that. He was born in 1919. He showed keen interest in Physics and Mathematics from his childhood. In 1975, India sent it’s satellite “Aryabhatta” into the space and accomplished a great achievement. Sarabhai was the person who created this satellite.

Sarabhai established the research center “Sarabhai Physical Research Laboratory” by his efforts just as Scientist Homi Bhabha established the “Tata Institute of Fundamental Research”. He expanded the “Indian Space Research Organisation” and got into space research. He was involved in the research of cosmic rays. These rays reach the earth from the sky. They have the power like dense and heavy rains. On their way, these rays get in contact with the sun, the air zone of the earth and the magnetic zone. Sarabhai revealed the truth that,“ all the changes that happen amidst the planets in the space get reflected in these rays”. He established many institutions.

Millions of people living in different parts India got benefitted by seeing the channels brought by ”The Satellite Industrial Television Experiment” which he undertook in 1975-76.

Sarabhai who wanted to accomplish many more achievements, passed away when he was just 52 years.

விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சியில் மிகுந்த ஈடுபாடு கொண்டவரும், அதன் மேம்பாட்டுக்காக ஒரு நிறுவனத்தை நிறுவியவரும் விக்ரம் அ. சாராபாய் ஆவார். இவர் 1919-ல் பிறந்தார். இயற்பியலிலும், கணிதத்திலும் சிறுவயதிலிருந்தே பேரார்வம் கொண்டிருந்தார். 1975-ல் "ஆரியபட்டா" செயற்கைக்கோளை இந்தியா விண்ணில் செலுத்தி சாதனை படைத்தது. அந்த செயற்கைக்கோளை வடிவமைத்தவர் சாராபாய்.

அறிவியலாளர் ஹோமி பாபா, “டாடா இன்ஸ்டிடியூட் ஆப் ஃபண்டமென்ட்டல் ரிசர்ச்”-ஐ நிறுவியதுபோல சாராபாய், "சாராபாய் இயற்பியல் ஆய்வுக்கூடம்" நிறுவினார். அவர் விஞ்ஞானியாக இருக்கையிலேயே, தனது சொந்த முயற்சியால் நிறுவினார். இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனத்தை விரிவுபடுத்தி விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சிக்குப் பெரும் ஆதரவாக இருந்தார்.

காஸ்மிக் கதிர்கள் குறித்த ஆராய்ச்சியிலும் ஈடுபட்டார். இவை விண்ணிலிருந்து பூமிக்கு வந்து சேரும் கதிர்கள். இவற்றுக்குப் பெருமழை பொழிய வைக்கும் ஆற்றல் உண்டு. இவை பூமிக்குள் வரும் வழியில் சூரியன், வளிமண்டலம் மற்றும் காந்தவிசை மண்டலம் ஆகியவற்றைத் தொட்டு வருபவை.

"விண்வெளியிலுள்ள கோள்களுக்கிடையேநடக்கும் அனைத்து மாற்றங்களையும்,இக்கதிர்கள் பிரதி பலிக்கின்றன" என்னும் உண்மையை சாராபாய் நிரூபித்தார். பல நிறுவனங்களை நிறுவினார். அவர் 1975-76-ம் ஆண்டில் மேற்கொண்ட, “தி சாட்டிலைட் இண்டஸ்ட்ரியல் டெலிவிஷன் எக்ஸ்பெரிமெண்ட்” என்னும் சோதனை முயற்சியால் இந்தியாவின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் வாழ்ந்த லட்சக்கணக்கான மக்கள் பல சேனல்களை பார்த்துப் பலனடைந்தனர்.

இன்னும் பற்பல சாதனைகள் புரிய ஆசைப்பட்ட சாராபாய், தனது 52 வயதிலேயே காலமானார்.
