இசை: இதுக்கு குறிப்பிட்ட formula எதுவும் கிடையாது மித்ரன். ஆனால், எங்கே என்ன பயன்படுத்தனும்ன்னு என்கிட்டே ஒரு list இருக்குது .

மித்ரன்: list-ஐ கொடுங்க அக்கா.

உமையாள்: in, on, under, above, for இதெல்லாம் prepositions. சரியா?

இசை: ஆகா பிரியா... என்ன இந்த பக்கம்? You have also come early to school today

இங்க பாருங்க , அந்த பூனை tree- ல இருந்து bench -க்கு குதிச்சு அப்புறம் table மேல போய் உட்காந்து இருக்குது.

இசை: அந்த பூனை டேபிள் மேல உட்கார்ந்து இருக்கிறதை இப்படி சொல்லணும். The cat is on the table.

இனியன்: அந்த open drawer க்குள்ள போய் எதையோ தேடுது பாருங்க.

இசை: இதை நாம இப்படி சொல்லனும். The cat is in the table

இசை: இப்போ அந்த பூனை அடியில் போய் படுத்துகிடுச்சு. இதை இப்படி சொல்லனும். The cat is under the table.

இனியன்: இந்த மூணு sentence-ல நீங்க பார்த்தீங்கன்னா on, in, under ன்னு மூணு words வந்திருக்கும். இதற்கு பெயர்தான் prepositions.
