பாட்டி: போன வாரம் பார்த்த Quantity of Adjective ஞாபகம் இருக்கா குழந்தைகளா?
மித்ரன், இசை, இனியன், உமையாள்: ரொம்ப நல்லா ஞாபகம் இருக்கு பாட்டி. மேற்கொண்டு சொல்லித் தாங்களேன்.
பாட்டி: மகிழ்ச்சி குழந்தைகளா. சரி வாங்க தெரிஞ்சிப்போம். Quantity of Adjective எல்லாமே uncountable. இவ்வளவுதான் அப்படின்னு சொல்லிட்டு நம்மளால count பண்ண முடியாது.
மித்ரன்: ஆமாம் பாட்டி. தண்ணீர், அரிசி மாதிரி பொருள்களை எல்லாம் ஒண்ணு ஒண்ணா எண்ணிகிட்டு இருக்க முடியுமா?
இசை: அதெல்லாம் மொத்தமா கிலோ கணக்குலையும், லிட்டர் கணக்குலையும் measurement பண்றாங்க.
இனியன்: அப்போ count பண்ணக் கூடிய adjective-ம் இருக்குதோ?
பாட்டி: Yes. அதுக்கு பேரு, Adjective of Number. How many people? How many things? அப்படிங்கற கேள்விகளை நம்மால் Adjective of Number வரக்கூடிய இடத்துல எழுப்ப முடியும். அதற்கான பதிலும் அங்கே இருக்கும்.
உமையாள்: Adjective of Number-ல் 3 types இருக்குதுன்னு கேள்வி பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
பாட்டி: Correct. சில இடத்தில நாம சரியான எண்ணிக்கையில் சொல்ல முடியும். இதுக்கு பேரு Definite Numeral Adjective.
இசை: five pens, two girls, ten chairs, fifth house, second tree, இப்படி உதாரணம் சொல்லலாம்.
பாட்டி: சில இடத்துல குறைவு, அதிகம், சில, பல அப்படிங்கற words மூலமா சொல்ல முடியும். இதுக்கு பேரு Indefinite Numeral Adjective.
இசை: Some pens, more children, less students, several books இப்படி உதாரணத்துக்கு சொல்லலாம்.
பாட்டி: சில இடத்துல அங்கு இருக்கிற ஒவ்வொருத்தரும் involve ஆகணும் அல்லது குறிப்பிட்ட கொஞ்ச பேரு மட்டும் involve ஆகணும். இதுக்கு பேரு Distributive Numeral Adjective.
இசை: Each student, every girl, another boy, either she எல்லாம் examples-ஆ சொல்லலாம்.
Adjective of Number
Definite Numeral Adjective
1. Iniyan has five pens.

Indefinite Numeral Adjective
