சிறுது நேரம் கழித்து, தெனாலி ராமன் சில குறும்புக்கார குழந்தைகளை அருகில் அழைத்தார். யாசகரைக் காட்டி, குழந்தைகளே, அங்கே நிற்கும் மனிதனைப் பார்க்கிறீர்களா. அவரை முதலாளி என்று யார் அழைத்தாலும் மிகவும் எரிச்சலடைவார். ஆகவே அப்படி மட்டும் செய்து விடாதீர்கள் என்றார் ராமன்.

இது தெரிந்தவுடன் குழந்தைகள் மிகுந்த உற்சாகம் அடைந்தனர். உடனே எல்லாக் குழந்தைகளும் அந்த யாசகரை சுற்றி நின்று "முதலாளி" என்று சத்தமாக கத்த ஆரம்பித்தனர். தெனாலி ராமனின் ஆலோசனைப்படி யாசகர் அந்த குழந்தைகளைக் கொல்ல வருவது போல் தலைதெறிக்க ஓடினார். குழந்தைகளைப் பார்த்து மற்றவர்களும் யாசகரை முதலாளி என்று அழைக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர். யாசகர் எல்லோருக்கும் பின்னால் ஓட, அவரை கிண்டல் செய்ய முதலாளி என்று அவர் பின்னால் மக்கள் ஓடினார்கள். பல நாட்கள் இப்படியே கழிந்தது. இந்த சம்பவத்தின் விளைவாக அந்த யாசகர் ஹம்பி முழுவதும் ‘‘முதலாளி’’ என்றே அழைக்கப்பட்டார். என்ன வினோதம்? குழந்தைகள் தான் விளையாட்டுத்தனமாக அடுத்தவர்களை கேலி செய்து மகிழ்கிறார்கள் என்றால் பெரியவர்களும்! இந்த மனோ தத்துவத்தை அறிந்திருந்தார் அறிஞர் தெனாலி ராமன்.
