பாட்டி: Exclamatory sentence ஐப் பற்றி இன்று பார்க்கலாம்
Direct Speech
He said to me, “Wow! What a beautiful butterfly is this!”
He said to me, “Hurray! We won the match!”
இதில். எந்தெந்த வார்த்தைகளை எல்லாம் direct speech லிருந்து indirect speech ற்கு மாற்ற வேண்டும்?
உமையாள்: Wow, Hurray போன்ற வார்த்தைகள் Reported speech பகுதியில் Exclamatory sentence இல் வரக் கூடும்.
மித்ரன்: இந்த வார்த்தைகள் எல்லாம் ஆச்சரியத்தை குறிக்கும் வார்த்தைகள் தானே?.
இசை: ஆமாம். இவற்றை Indirect Speech இல் நீக்கி விட வேண்டும்.
உமையாள்: இங்கு conjunction ஆக that ஐ Indirect speech இல் சேர்க்க வேண்டும்.
இனியன்: said ற்கு பதிலாக Indirect speech இல் exclaimed, surprised, போன்ற வார்த்தைகளை பயன்படுத்தலாம்.
இசை: Reporting speech ஐப் பொறுத்து Reported speech இல் pronoun ஐ மாற்ற வேண்டும்.

He exclaimed to me in amazement that it was such a beautiful butterfly.
He exclaimed with excitement that they had won the match.
