Explanation to answers

1 - 4 : It is clear that History must be scheduled on Tuesday only.
English lecture has to be scheduled immediately before the day of Economics lecture and Mathematics lecture has to be scheduled immediately after the day of Economics lecture =>
English, Economics and Mathematics have to be scheduled in succession.
It is clear that correspoding days must be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively. The left out day is Monday and the left out subject is Statistics.

Correct Schedule

Monday - Statistics
Tuesday - History
Wednesday - English
Thursday - Economics
Friday - Mathematics

5 - 7 : On the first floor, out of four flats, one occupant is Lawyer and has only one neighbor => Number of flats in first floor is 4. And Lawyer and the neighbor must be Engineer since there are three Engineers, each occupying one flat from I , II and III.
One Teacher lives one floor below the other teacher =>one Teacher In II and the other Teacher in III floor.
Now left out one Lawyer and Doctor.
The Doctor is not the neighbor of any of the lawyers => either Lawyer or Doctor in the II floor Or
either Doctor or Lawyer in the III floor.
No flat is unoccupied on the second floor => There are 3 flats in the II floor
Using - No two persons on the same profession stay on any floor.
No.of flats - 4 in I floor, 3 in II floor and the remaining 6 in III floor.
Occupied flats - 2 in I floor, 3 in II floor and the remaining 3 in III floor
5. Three flats are occupied on the third floor.
6. Lawyer and Engineer is the combination of occupants on the first floor.
7. Six flats are there in the third floor

8 - 10 :
Couple -1 First Generation
S (F) - Housewife -T is Third Generation U (M) -Contractor- R is Third Generation

Couple -2 Second Generation
P (F) - Nurse
Q (M) - Doctor

If T is male, then R is female and vice versa.

9. US and QP are two couples.
